Ludi Romani:
The Ludi Romani were public games in ancient Rome that had a lot of roman theater involved and were made to honor Jupiter Optimus Maximus that were celebrated from the 5th century B.C. Before 220 B.C. they were limited to one day but by A.D. 51, funding was provided for 14 days for the games at Rome in 51 A.D. The Ludi Romani had a walk from that stretched from the Capitol to the Circus Maximus. Following this the Romans would go through the process of sacrifice, which they believed would appease their gods.
